The Source of Brian's Philosophy on Behavorial Solutions

There were five children in the Agnew family. Even as a child, Brian was always very intuitive when it came to animals, be it cats, dogs, hamsters and even opossums! He had a way of understanding and working with them.

Brian walking a pack of dogs on the street. There was a veterinarian who lived down the street and more than once, with tears in his eyes, he’d tell his family of a dying pet. Brian would run back to see if he could help make the pet well again. There were many stray cats that visited their home. One had a litter of kittens and shortly after was attacked by a local dog and had to be put down. Brian and his sisters diligently fed the orphans until they were old enough to eat on their own.

Somehow during the years Brian went off to college and majored in Communications and ended up working as a camera assistant, and later becoming a Director of Photography working on music videos, commercials and feature films.

One Saturday afternoon a little fluff of a dog came into his life. Tenaya became the inspiration and catalyst that drew Brian back into working with animals. Tenaya After doing work at a daycare facility and basic obedience training he realized that there must be another way that he could help dogs, as well as their owners.

That piqued his interest in investigating a training course in the methods used by Cesar Millan, “The Dog Whisperer”. Now, a few years later, he has gone back to the beginning, which is taking care of animals, teaching others how to understand their dogs through intuition.

Brian Agnew is the only person in the South Bay to have completed Linn Boyke’s intensive “Shadow Program”. Linn himself was Mentored by Cesar and has been given the approval to teach his philosophy and techniques.

Brian has since gone out on his own to share his knowledge of dog psychology to the dog owners in his community. He works with local rescue groups as well as the foster parents and those who are there to adopt. It’s important for people to understand how dogs communicate and Brian helps them understand how to tap into their intuitive side in order to bridge the gap between human/dog. Brian is also a member of The International Association of Canine Professionals, an organization that is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professional as well as business practices.

Wanting to further his education, Brian went to Florida to attend a workshop put on by Marc Goldberg and Martin Deely , and became certified in the use of Force Free™ and E-Touch™ remote collar training. If you ever have the opportunity to take this workshop it is highly recommended.
